Whilst not a requirement, setting up a simple "Output" Directory or Asset Library is recommended and generally a good idea.

In my case, I set up my Asset Library like this:

├── Asset Library
| ├── Models
| | ├── KB3D
| | | ├── Mission_To_Minerva
| | | | ├── Textures
| | | | | ├── 2k
| | | | | | ├── 2k Texture Files...
| | | | | └── 4k
| | | | | | ├── 4k Texture Files...
| | | | └──
| | | | └──

Make sure to copy the corresponding textures to their folders. These will be referenced in the HDA later.

Your chosen Texture Directories will be the final paths all USD Assets will reference the textures from.

Now you are ready to load the FBX file and start the conversion.
